Inspiration Cinta & Rangga

Yesterday, atashi watched again an Indonesian movie called Ada Apa Dengan Cinta(What's Up With Love). As atashi watched Cinta and Rangga getting to know with each other, atashi was struck(?) with a new poem.
By the way, atashi hasn't got the time and enough internet access to update atashi no anime collection. So, in the meanwhile, atashi hope atashi don't mind atashi no latest madah(poem) in Malay.
For Malays Literature people, sorry for mixing in few English words in the madah. But even given the chance, atashi wouldn't do it in any other way.

Halnya Bercinta(Love Matter)

pabila dua insan berjumpa
lebih lagi berlainan jantina
maka troublenya lagi sulit
kerana keduanya tidak fahami
apa dihati si dia itu

seribu buku mau dibaca
namun tak mungkin ngerti
kehendak dan keperluan
yang begitu opposite
sampai tak bisa ditranslate

kekadang ada jua
sengaja tidak mau mencari
lebihkan kepentingan diri
salahkan pihak yang lain
tapi sendiri statik berdiri

perjumpaan itu bukan satu curse
jadi mengapa tidak mau mengalah?
malah tambah bergaduh bercela
walau hati katakan cinta
egonya halang segala pendengaran

berhenti sebentar wahai teman
jangan emosi dibiar amuk
tarik nafasmu lepaskan perlahan
carikan jawapan disudut hati
"apa perasaan yang daku simpan?"

Why Bunny???

hopping around no where to go
my nature home no where in sight
concretes and metals i know not
scattering and messing with my vision

a little box they called my home
are u sure, cos it's so queer
a lot of food whole bunch of love
maybe that's why i'm still here
still alive despite all lies

the most saddest playing in mind
children or relatives would make do
yet neither will they approve
and neither can they care

all my life i wonder why
they are so close yet too far
i get attention yet still lonely
and i keep wondering still
why me, why me..

Never-Ending Anime

It's been quite sometime since my last post. I only wrote occasionally - meaning anytime that I remember I still have a blog (...) - because it's hard for me to find something to scribble. Furthermore, my English is bad, but I still choose to use it because some things can be described better using English than Malay. And of course I need to improve my second language, if that's the least i can learn in NZ. As usual, I'm gonna talk about anime, only this time i won't focus in a particular anime - but rather a bunch of it. My main topic is "anime which is long enough making some people tired to watch". Well, I might digress from it Anime Smiley.

Firstly, I bet you guys have noticed the pattern of a never-ending anime. In my observation, those kinds of anime - for instance, Bleach, Naruto and One Piece - would have a filler. You would probably said 'like, duh..' to that, but wouldn't you agree that fillers are too much and unnecessary in the first place? Well, I know they
did that to fill the gap between one seasons so people won't have to wait idly for the next one - maybe. But it sure kills anime lovers outside of Japan! (I'm dying to ask whether the Japanese really like the fillers) However, from my personal view, One Piece has good fillers. The filler such as the 'G8 Arc' where Luffy's crew fell from the sky into the marine's nest has a quality as good as the original one. So, I won't complain much. But for Naruto's fillers... it's just painful to watch it. It's not only 'not good', but I find it very childish that only small children would watch it (but the fanservice wouldn't suggest it).

Now, it comes to the part that I 'like' the most - the second pattern of a never-ending anime; a fairly ridiculous amount of flashback
. Flashback is essential for a story. It serves as a reminder to the viewers and often creates suspense in a story, or develop a character. But when the same flashback repeated several times, eventhough not in the same episode, it could cause boredom and annoyance instead. As if viewers have bad memories, they are inserted in the anime without putting a limit how often a flashback can be. An example of anime with a whole lot of flashbacks is Naruto (it's not that I condemn Naruto, trust me). Sometimes I think of it as a spoiler to a good action. Because the flashback always comes between fights, climax or even repeated over and over again. As for bleach, there's also a lot of them, but I think it's not overboard. Same as One Piece.
Generally speaking, I think Naruto's storyline has improved by time (maybe since Naruto has grown up ^.^) plus there's a lot of actions also less idling around. I admit I can't relax like before when watching it cos suspense and surprises come one after another without warning. But that's more exciting, isn't it? For Bleach.. erm, frankly I'm quite disappointed with it. I don't know if it's only me, but I realized that the quality of the graphic has decreased. Even the expression of the characters has not done well. I wonder whatever happened. It's as if they change the artist of the anime - or did they? O_o Whatever the reason is, because of that I'm less keen to watch Bleach than before. And it's certainly not because of it's length. On the other hand, I think it's quite the opposite for One Piece. I know by instinct that the quality or even the storyline would be the same as before, if not better. But.. maybe it's a bit too long for me to follow it. I will someday, but my current internet -which is so slow I'd die - tells me to find a nice short anime for now. Or just read a one-shot manga. It's shorter, but still took hours to read at home T_T.

Alrighty then, I'll stop for now. Ideas won't come out anymore. Maybe I'll write my next post next month, or maybe you'll have to wait longer (if you are even waitingAnime Smiley).

Lastly: Enjoy living, others won't hurt you if you don't let them. And don't give up on anime yet!

Knowing More About Me

Hisashiburi desu, guys. Finally I found something that I can talk about. MYSELF. Sounds like self-obsession, eh? Well.. hope not. Alritey.. here is the story. I was bored and 'godam' around my own pc(I don't even know what did I put in it, sometimesAnime Smiley). And then I found a file named Personality Preferences. I did some sort a questionnaire in http://www.explorelove.co.uk/per/passess.htm sometime ago and I recorded the results. So here I am sharing my own personality with you. Don't get bored easily, okay?

First, I would put the result. Below that, I would comment about it myself.

YOU ARE AN EXTROVERT
You are social and outgoing. You are most comfortable when with other people and experiencing the world first hand. Interaction with others and first hand experiences energize you. It is not unlike you to start conversations with strangers. You have a preference for the outer world: people, activities, and things. Other people provide you with a mirror, sounding board to help you develop ideas and plans. Being alone may sap your energies. Your concept of the world is derived from experiencing it firsthand and then drawing conclusions.

MY COMMENT:
That one, I'd say part of it is true. But I think I am getting MORE extrovert these days. Before this, I'm more to introvert person. I didn't talk much, I always follow others lead, never give my opinion out loud.. even now!Anime Smiley Well, my friends wouldn't believe me if I said that.. but seriously i don't know how to start a conversation. ESPECIALLY with strangers. For people I've known quite a while, I won't be able to stop talking.
And yes, I like to experience things first hand and I CAN'T live alone. I have to have someone to talk to, to develop my ideas.

YOU ARE INTUITIVE
While you do process information through your senses you add a twist to your processing by relying on intuition and serendipity. You look for undercurrents of meaning and abstractions in what you experience physically. You do not just see things just as they are, but as what they could be. While you may rely on common sense at times, you trust inspiration far more.

MY COMMENT:
I am every word what it says above. What's more to say?
Anyway.. I don't know if you guys already know; I'm not a straightforward person. In ANY possible way. Just like what it says about me, I don't see things as they are or rather - I saw everything as another thing. It's good in some way, but not in other ways. I even speak with a lot of hidden intention; and I expect people to understand what I'm trying to say. How selfish.Anime Smiley

YOU ARE PERCEIVING
You like to have as much information as possible before making decision. Putting off a final decision until the last moment does not make you uncomfortable. Indeed, once a decision is made, a course plotted, you may feel a bit uneasy, because you feel bound to a certain course of action. You would much prefer to wait and see what happens. You enjoy the opportunity to improvise. Commitments are not etched in stone to you, and are changeable.

MY COMMENT:
Of course, I'd like to understand things completely and having all informations to make a decision because I don't like to be responsible of any mistakes! THAT'S WHY I prefer not to make decision. Wise decision, eh? (yeah, right)
Commitments. I hate people who don't commit. But am I a committed person? Well, after a lot of self observing,Anime Smiley I think I should admit that it's hard for me to stay at one thing. I'm easily getting bored with something especially in study. And clothes. I can only commit to friends. But.. I don't like to throw my things away no matter how bored I am with it. Even I found myself odd. (...)

YOU AND FEELING
You make decisions subjectively based upon your values and what is important to you. How people will be affected by your decisions is important to you. You are likely to make decisions based upon what you feel is acceptable and agreeable rather than what is logical. Your truths are founded in your values and those of the society you live in. (It is important to remember that we are discussing how you evaluate data and make decisions, and that you rely on your feelings to do so in no way implies you are overly emotional.)

MY COMMENT:
Well, gotta admit. That's the truth.

Lastly, I'm gonna write the conclusion of the results; with no comment from my side.(seriously??)

CONCLUSION
You are a very creative optimist who never has a shortage of new ideas. You accept others as they are, like to be helpful, and are compassionate. Your freedom and independence are very important to you. Your well-developed insight into others and communication skills allow you to inspire those around you. You have a good sense of humor and love to have fun.

Famous people of your type:
Franz Joseph Haydn, Samuel Clemens, Will Rogers, Buster Keaton, Theodor "Dr." Seuss Geisel, Mickey Rooney, Carol Burnett, Paul Harvey, Elizabeth Montgomery, Bill Cosby, Dom Delouise, Dave Thomas, Martin Short, Meg Ryan, Robin Williams, Sandra Bullock, Robert Downey.

Occupations suited to your type include:
Actor,Anime Smiley artist, clergy, consultant, entertainer, entrepreneur, personal service provider, journalist, marketer, media specialist, mediator, recruiter, sales person, business owner, teacher, and writer.

Ok, I lied. I AM gonna comment. (readers -->Anime Smiley)
I found a lot of weaknesses beneath all the words above. I mean my own weaknesses. They was presented in such a way that they don't look like weaknesses at all. Nice, eh. (whatever I'm trying to say..Anime Smiley)

I noticed my comments are quite lame. But thanks for enduring, guys. Jaa, itsudemo mata ne.Anime Smiley

"We Will Take Revenge on Your Behalf"

I went to every website - searching for action anime. I thought "Is there any good anime anymore?!"Anime Smiley I was sick of watching those anime i called "low-class"(sorry about that). Either the storyline is no good or the script is awful.. or the seiyuu have no talent. I think there's many anime lack in all of that, but why.. do I.. still searching for it? (don't ask) I even check the anime list in Wiki.

Then I came across 1 site; after browsing like an hour or so - or more - and I found it. It's not really an action anime, it's more of a supernatural.. but that's not the point. I finally found an interesting anime to watch. Jigoku Shoujo a.k.a Hell Girl.

As it sounds, it's about a girl who can send someone to Hell. I was quite hesitated at the first look. Seems interesting, I supposed, but I'm afraid of getting frustrated againAnime Smiley. So I decided to download it first and see if anybody knows about it. Apparently, ミミさん also known as usagi-chan(by me) knew and recommended it.
So I thought I'd give it a try. Won't hurt, eh?

A little synopsis: A pretty, traditional look with the appearance of a young girl..Anime Smiley Enma Ai, can take revenge on behalf of anybody who have felt enough hatred towards someone. As she'd say to the person who called her: "The one you seek revenge upon, will be taken immediately to hell. However, if I deliver your revenge, I must have you make restitution to me." And.. I'm not gonna finish the dialog. Why don't you guys check it out yourself. If you are around Auckland, I can even make the effort to lend it to you. What do you say?Anime Smiley

There you go, an anime titled: Jigoku Shoujo.. genre: Supernatural.. audience: suitable for all. I presented to you with a pride. The only problem is, if you can remember clearly what I said earlier(or you can read it again); I was searching for an action anime right? And I clearly didn't found it yet, or so I said..Anime Smiley Then, guys.. look forward to my new discovery next time! Japan is not running out of good anime, yet.
Later, ne!Anime Smiley
